It all began back in 1963 in sunny Palm Springs, California, founded by Tess and Sid Meltzer alongside their daughter Roz. Over the years, Roz and her husband Harold Westley carried the torch. And in 1994, Roz and her mother Tess made a bold move from Palm Springs to beautiful Branson, Missouri, bringing their passion for dance and unique products with them.

Today, Roz’s son Brett proudly runs the store, continuing the family legacy with warmth and enthusiasm. At The Red Garter, we’re more than just a store – we’re a destination. On one side, we cater to dancers with a dazzling array of dancewear, including leotards, tights, and shoes for Tap, Jazz, and Ballet. We also specialize in professional makeup from the renowned Ben Nye brand, along with wigs, costumes, and everything else performers need to shine on stage.

On the other side, discover a world of fun and delight with our extensive selection of pleasure products, from adult toys to party essentials to games. We’re also proud to offer a diverse range of lingerie for all, from sizes small to 3X, ensuring everyone feels confident and fabulous.
